Celebrate Card

I've been trying to beef up my supply of birthday cards that I have on hand. This one came together so easily. Both the sentiment and the flower stamps are by Stampin Up and stamped with distress ink by Ranger Industries. The circle die cuts are by Stampendous and I love how you can mix and match. Patterned papers by Die Cuts with a View, Basic Grey and Making Memories.

May All your Wishes card

I have another birthday card today as part of my mass birthday card making to beef up my stash. The two patterned papers are by Recollections and K and Co. The stamped flower image is by Stampendous and I colored it in with colored pencils. I trimmed the image down and adhered it to a Spellbinders purple die cut.

I wrapped a piece of purple/blue ribbon by May Arts around the patterned paper and stamped the sentiment with Ranger purple ink.

Manly Monday Birthday Plane

Sorry for the delay. My Manly Monday card uses a Sizzix Plane stamp, stamped in black, and cut out with matching oval die. I cut out the shape in the center with the Cricut and the Art Philosophy cartridge. That cartridge has some great shapes that don't require a ton of layering. I cut black paper to go on top of blue Creative Memories patterned paper.

The next layer of paper is by Basic Grey and it is matted onto black cardstock (Recollections). The final layer is Coredinations frosted blue cardstock before adhering it to a white card base. The birthday stamp is by Stampin Up. I really took a chance on the sentiment. I had everything, and I do mean everything done with this card except the sentiment. I practiced many times before I got the courage to stamp it onto my card........and it turned out great or I should say, good enough for me. I hope you like it.

Happy Birthday cards

I made these ATC's for the monthly swap I do at Scrapbook.com. I inked a stencil by The Crafter's Workshop with a different mix of distress inks. When I was done inking, I sprayed the stencil with water and placed white cardstock on top of it to create a reverse pattern.

The border punches are by EK Success and the pennant dies by Lawn Fawn. The letter stamps inside the pennants are by Oriental Trading Co with pink SU ink. The balloon brads are by Eyelet Outlet, party hat eyelets may be by them too and the present brad is by Around the Block. The words "Birthday Girl" are stamps from two different Lawn Fawn stamp sets and the sentiment on the second card is by Fiskars. Both are stamped with Hero Arts black ink.

Manly Monday Birthdays are the Best

My card today has more going on with it then my normal guy card. I stamped the background with a SU Canvas stamp with charcoal ink by Hero Arts. The sentiment is also by SU and stamped with Memento black ink. The boat is a Tim Holtz stamp stamped with Hero Arts black ink.

The blue patterned paper on the left is by Basic Grey with navy cardstock behind it. The edges of the boat have been inked with blue Ranger's distress ink and added to a Spellbinders die. I cut the edges off the die so the scallops looked like waves.

Quick question-Do you ever use the 7 button on your microwave?
Just wondering.

Together Forever from this Day Forward

Today I have another ring card for you. You can see the first one I posted HERE. The diamond is a Sweet Stamp Shop stamp however they no longer sell it. I think that you could use THIS one by Ellen Hutson or THIS die set or Lawn Fawn has a new wedding set.

The actual ring is platinum heat embossed white cardstock that I did a Jennifer McGuire trick by taking the Versa Mark ink pad and patting it onto white cardstock in a large enough area to fit my circle punches. I punched a small circle first and then a larger circle just outside the small circle to make a ring. I used punches by Creative Memories and EK Success.

The background of the card was also heat embossed in platinum. The background stamp is by Hero Arts and the watercolor paper is by Ranger. Then I watercolored the background with Black Soot distress ink and water. I cut the embossed piece down and matted it with black cardstock by Recollections. The die cut the ring is on is by Spellbinders. The sentiment is a rub on by Kaisercrafts that I put on vellum by The Paper Studio.

Spread Sunshine Cards

I have to say that distress inks are my favorite thing to create with. I inked these backgrounds with different shades of blue before going in with the yellow and the orange for the stencil sun rays. The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp that I curved on the acrylic block before stamping it with black ink. I've had to use Memento tuxedo black ink lately because my favorite black ink by Hero Arts is drying up. I wonder if it is because I'm in the basement where it is cold. Or it could be that I just use it all the time. Anyway, the flowers, buttons, eyelets, rhinestones and brads have different manufacturers. There's even an upcycled hair thingy in there.

5th Birthday Layout

Today I have a layout from one of the graduation books I did last year. I really liked the circles but looking at it now I think it all may be too busy. Oh well what's done is done.

I cut the circles out with my Cricut and the George cartridge and then dry embossed them with embossing folders by Cuttlebug and Darice. The birthday cake stamp is an old one by Stampin Up. I colored in the flames with Clearsnap Smooches ink. The letter stickers are by Making Memories.

Manly Monday Triple Beer

My card today uses beer eyelets by Eyelet Outlet and a sentiment die cut by Lawn Fawn. The die cuts I bought off of EBay so there's no manufacturer. I did ink the inside of the middle dies with distress ink. The green cardstock is by Recollections and that's all I know. I like the way it turned so that's all that matters.

Blue Thx Card

This pretty card came together with a frame for the cross that was cut out using the Cricut and the Lacy Labels cartridge. The cross stamp is by Stampabilities with Stampin Up blue ink. The polka dot paper is by Making Memories and the blue cardstock is by Bazzill, which has been punched with a border by EK Success. The blue ribbon is from Michaels. The sentiment is an American Crafts stamp that I punched out with a circle punch and layered it onto a larger blue circle. Then I adhered those layers on top of a very large blue circle brad.

Christmas Bell Card

Today I have a Christmas card. The gold background is a mat for an old photo with Craft Smith tree paper on top. The bell itself is one I didn't stamp or color. I received it from someone. The star like die cut behind it is by Spellbinders and the sentiment is by Hero Arts.

Corrugated Flower Cards

I made these cards for a swap with the theme to use something corrugated. They turned out kind of cool.

I'm adding this card because it uses the same flower stamp just a little bit different color. I made the purple background using Strathmore watercolor cardstock and Peerless Watercolors. The colors I used were; mauve, heliotrope and amethyst, I then die cut the center with a Spellbinders die Label 4. The flower stamp and die are the same as above. The sentiment stamp is by Forever in Time that I stamped with Ranger purple ink. The dragonfly is a brad from my stash.

Baby Brother Layout

Today I have layout for you and this one is from my nephew's book. The top patterned paper is by Stampin Up. The word paper is a scrap from a friend and he bottom paper is by Coredinations. It had a really cool frosted look on the front but the back of the paper matched what I was doing better.

The tag is a Cricut cut with the cartridge Don Juan and the tabs are size 1.5 by Art Philosophy. The cardstock for those cuts is by Recollections. On the tag I stamped a Hero Arts background stamp with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with white MyStamp Box embossing powder. I inked the tag with distress ink before setting a blue eyelet in the hole. After it dried I adhered felt numbers on it. The baby bingo is a Lindsay's Stamp Stuff digital stamp. The word brother is a Doodlebug thingy. The baby bottle sticker is by Frances Meyer.

I have another Kindness card to share with you. The butterfly die cut is by Making Memories, patterned paper by Fancy Pants, ribbon by American Crafts, label die cut by Sizzix with sentiment by Lawn Fawn in black Hero Arts ink. Brad is unknown. The border on the right is a TPC Studio stamp that I stamped with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I combined Faber Casell Gelatos with a glimmer white paint and painted it on with a sponge wedge. It turned out pretty.

Kindness Campaign Card Drive Card #2

I made this card for a Kindness Campaign card drive. Check it out and consider donating some cards for a good cause.

I used Cosmo Cricket patterned paper for the background. I stamped the mosaic Stampin Up stamp in Ranger purple and punched out with matching punch. I put a bunch of them in a circle die cut (Cricut) and then cut that circle in half. The sentiment is Fiskars stamp that I heat embossed in white. Then I inked the white cardstock and sprayed it with Perfect Pearls and water. After it dried and I cut it into a circle (maybe with Creative Memories cutting system?), I added it to the inside of the half circle. with a flower rhinestone in the center,
